What is EB2Gov

EB2Gov is a partnership between your municipality and Interware Development Co. (IDC) whereby IDC provides online e-services to your constituents at little or no cost to your municipality. Among the services currently available are:

• E-Reg - Motor Vehicle Registration Renewals
• Dogs - Dog License Renewals
• Property Tax Billing - Property Tax Collections with automatic interest calculations
• Utility Billing - Water, Sewer and Betterment collections
• Parking Fine Collections - Collect local parking fines - can be linked to vehicles
• Beach Passes - Request Beach Pass
• Parks & Recreation - Pay for recreational activities
• Transfer Station - Select and Pay for various fees related to the disposal of items

EB2Gov is inexpensive for the customer

To pay for these services EB2Gov charges a small convenience fee per transaction. Municipalities are able to add a small surcharge to these fees in order to cover additional costs such as postage and handling. Since it is completely voluntary, constituents can opt out and pay for these services .

EB2Gov is 24 / 7

Constituents can transact business with EB2Gov 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For those municipalities with limited hours this can be a real help. When users are transacting business on EB2Gov, they are not standing in lines at your office.

EB2Gov is easy to use for customers

Intuitive, easy to understand screens walk the customer through each step. Transactions can be mixed as each transaction gets placed into a shopping basket. When ready to check out, customers simply select their payment method (e-check or credit-card) and cash out.

EB2Gov is easy to use for Clerks

Automatic notification of transactions are sent out hourly (as defined by the municipality) via email. Data is then downloaded via out client application, approved and then processed as if the customer was there in person.
